I'm not the conspiracy person here: the Nazis openly admitted what they did and tried to justify it after the war, eg at the Nuremberg trials.

Nazi police officer:

Just because the police officer was located in poland doesn't imply he wasn't shooting jewish children too.

Even if that's true, the Nazis (outside of the trials) also defended their killing of children and genocidal ideology.

I'm sure some did. They saw their country being turned from a destitute shithole to a global superpower within a few years and saw a correlation.
