Honestly, I'd be willing to pay some extra taxes for this. I envy how Scandinavia and Denmark are ran. I'm hoping we could take note from them.

I also hope that we could figure out a way to fix the gap between the extreme wealthy and poor. I'm not saying that income should be equal, no.. but better dispersed than what it is. One could only dream.

The issue is the USA has a top 5 population. Most countries with nationalized healthcare happen to be much much smaller. The bigger a program gets the more chance for bloat, waste and fraud.

Just look at the DOJ website. Trump has been going hard after doctors abusing Medicare and Medicaid. I feel as if state run healthcare may be better, with a federal oversight committee to ensure corruption is kept to a minimum.
