Every time I saw her when I was a child in the 1960's she looked greasy and dirty.

she had a butter face
she got depressed because chads wouldn't commit to her, so she did drugs to cope, and Od'd on heroin. Kind of a black pill, she had it all, money, fame, success, but was still depressed due to no chad.

But maybe she didn't overdose, if you can believe this theory. The cigs and change in her hand don't necessarily prove she was fine enough to go hit up a cig machine, but if true it would raise some questions.
