No, Led Zeppelin didn't write this song.

Here's a different version with Joe McCoy singin' I think. It's got some video goin' on too.

And there is an old photograph with a Zeppelin in it.

Nice. Somehow I've never heard this, despite hearing the Zeppelin version too many times. I love how fast some of this old stuff is, it barely sounds dated, just a tad for the shit recording quality.

Glad you like it. I'm not sure if groups like LZ, the Doors, and the Stones even attributed most of the songs they recorded from Blues artists. I love me some Blues.

hahaaa yeah I'm not sure how much time they spent worrying about attribution. Rock is black music! I was trying to figure out today if Chuck Berry or Little Richard is the rock and roll God. What blues should I listen to?

Howlin' Wolf, Lightning Hopkins, Sonny Boy Williamson. Robert Johnson is said to be the originator of the Delta Blues but the audio quality of the originals is really bad. Here is a cover of one of his songs. I will add some more as I think of them.

It looks like Robert Johnson's recordings have been remastered and sound pretty good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eunqgkEoIL0

"Bring me champagne when I'm thirsty

Bring me reefer when I want to get high" **This is gettin' close to the blues I like best. Under that link above, there is a treasure trove of Mississippi Delta straight natural blues.
