Wray was a Native American (most Native Americans prefer Indian) who had a strong influence on what would later be called Rock 'n' Rock. Much as I hate recommending a Netflix documentary, look for him in the Netflix docu called, (to be announced soon). Did you know that Jimi Hendrix was a large part Native American? Indians have been written out of US history from the beginning.

And this was the only instrumental song to be deemed unplayable on radio, due to its likelihood to incite riots.

Yes, I believe The Wraymen were not allowed to add words to their music, yes, because it might incite people to riot. That is outrageous. Native Americans and Eskimos make up less than 1% of the US population and are unlikely to cause disrupting riots. Thanks.
