The man who played Christ still does speeches for Catholics. He was my client, briefly.

Please don't link to wikipedia.

Willem Dafoe is one of the good ones, so far as I know.

Why don't you like Wikipedia, besides all their censorship, unipolar propaganda, distorted history, etc? It's a fine starting point for the "official narrative", and enough for folks to start for a basic reference.

Aside from that? There's no aside from that!

"People" take Snopes and Wikipedia as gospel when they are clearly lies.

It depends. If you seek basic and/or non-political information it's terrific. If you want information on tensegrity, Karlis Johansons, a list of hyperboloid structures, or open source. (Some things I contributed significantly to.)

Snopes claims to be truth buster so I never reference it except in spite and satire. They're not on the same level at all.

Not all people take them as gospel, and certainly not everyone on SaidIt. I suppose I could include a read-at-your-own-discretion - RAYOD warning and/or "Trust but verify."
