Okay I see. What does this have to do with the manifesto of a shooter though?

Nothing really. I'm just trying to communicate that the MDE community is a positive, peaceful community that shares dissident right materials in humorous way. They/we have a unique lingo and it takes a while to pick it up. It's an ongoing conversation and a meme community so we often talk about stuff in the comments indirectly related to the video or meme posted.

Alright, I'm going to hold you to that. If that's honestly the intent, then you all are more than welcome.

The more mde respects the pyramid of debate, the better our relationship will be. We built saidit to have a site to browse that isn't hate-filled like voat, so I hope in a month saidit mde won't just look like the front page of voat. Aka tons of low-information memes designed to stir up hate. We will take action to avoid becoming voat if need be.

I look forward to seeing the positive, thoughtful, peaceful content that mde will contribute to saidit. We can always use more of that. All the best to you and the new mde sub!

It's not a debate sub in the slightest though. Maybe I'm a bit confused about what seddit is trying to do here. My understanding is that seddit wanted to give more freedom to mods and wouldn't be authoritative from the admin perspective. That's what's killing reddit, steering the debate in the direction they want it to go. You can't steer the internet. You can't play god.

I play site admin. And this site is not becoming voat, nor is it going to become reddit. That's the entire point of the site. It's not a complete free-for-all that turns in to a hate-fest, that's what ruined voat. If that bothers you, then maybe this site isn't the best fit. This isn't a rudderless boat, so to speak.

As long as you said you like Brother Nat and want to err on the side of not treading on free speech, then I think that you can't be faulted for being a reasonable dude. I'm kind of neutral and not an MDE guy specifically, although I like this crowd.

I do love brother Nat and want to err on the side of free speech, so thank you :)

Ok. Sounds good. I will spread the world this isn't a safe place for free thinkers. I will keep my sub up a few more days if you guys change your mind. You're welcome to come of to r/debatealtright and have an open discussion with the broader dissident community. I'm really curious hearing you defend how you think you're going to grow a social media network using the same censorship and opinion shaping techniques used by reddit. We don't need another reddit. Any truly free space on the internet is going to have offensive content and right wing content. That's something you have to come to terms with as a social media admin.

If that's your interpretation of what was said, I suggest you re-read our conversation.

I just added a few more comments.

Look, if you obey the rules, you're more than welcome. If you create a place of hatred, then you're gone. It's super simple, and if you can't handle that very basic approach then why do we need you here?

If you create a place of hatred, then you're gone.

Hatred is in the eye of the beholder. Palestinians are sniped and murdered by Israel weekly yet there are social media networks and entire MSM divisions that call even mild criticism of Israel 'hate.' My experience on modding r/debatealtright and r/altrightwebm is to exclude hate rhetoric but only because it's lazy and hurts our (dissident right european people's) cause. I also wouldn't sub to subs that promote blatant hate. However it's not a real social media site if it doesn't allow hate. People just shouldn't subscribe to subs that they interpret as hate filled. True hate subs will naturally stay small because people for the most part are good. However, the minute you create rules against the blanket term of 'hate' it now becomes a political weapon to shape debate and shape politics. So what are you trying to do with this site? Are you just another reddit that quarantines and bans political subs under the banner of 'anti hate' or is this a community that wants to be a real forum? I personally never really liked 'r/fatpeoplehate' or 'r/spaceniggers' but you can't call it an open community if those aren't allowed because under the guise of getting rid of 'hate' like r/fatpeoplehate admin quietly bans subs like r/pizzagate and r/holocaust which are filled with legit political discussion and legit discussion of source driven information. I guess the question is are you a tool of the oligarchs or not magnora7?
