A friend of mine was recently in Hong Kong during the recent extradition law protests.

He went to the mainland and noticed that it was barely reported in the state run news. This was mentioned to one of his customers, and the fellow wasn't at all surprised.

Infact, the Chinese fellow went on to say that there's game news all over.
He then pointed it that Pelosi had recently publically criticized Trump, which he had assumed was fake, as well.

They couldn't imagine that public criticisms if the president would be tolerated.

In some sense, I believe that the criticism of Trump is fake. They are all members of the business party system.

Also, the Chinese public is fully aware that the news is intended to deceive them. Most in the US are just waking to this obvious fact.

Trump actually deserves a lot of credit for the increased public awareness of this issue.
