Having control is not equal to being dangerous. Facism is just a buzzword for whatever doesn't follow leftist propaganda.

It's generally appreciated that anything left of the far right is 'liberal' (rather than potentially 'progressive conservative'(Candada), or 'liberal conservative', or centrist, which are terms long lost in the US in the polarized far right rhetoric of the past 8 years). Your only potential argument here is that Libertarianism is somehow left of the far right, but for many reasons, we can argue that Libertarians are absolutely right wing (focusing on letting corporations run everything, and no effective representation for the 99%).

Yes, the language, the media, the politics, the rhetoric of the past century has ablated most English speakers' ability to think on the whole possible spectrum of political and economic ideas and systems.
