I gave up coffee for 3 weeks without any problems.

But when I had my first cup after that I was high as a kite for 24 hours, sorting out my bedroom at 2am in the morning.

Yes. This is the true average coffee drinker. Who hasn't been fired over their coffee consumption? I gave up both meth and crack to do the actual Colombian drug of choice. This is so real, so me. Quote me on that.
