He's right that the laptop is weak evidence for a court because of other people accessing it.

The analysts found that people other than Hunter Biden had repeatedly accessed and copied data for nearly three years; they also found evidence that people other than Biden had accessed and written files to the drive, both before and after the New York Post story.[6] In September 2020, someone created six new folders on the drive, including with the names "Biden Burisma," "Big Guy File," "Salacious Pics Package" and "Hunter. Burisma Documents." But the reality is that it doesn't matter. Nothing from the laptop has revealed illegal or unethical behavior by Joe Biden as vice president with regard to his son’s tenure as a director for Burisma, a Ukraine-based natural gas company.

It did reveal some evidence of drug use, but Hunter Biden had already publicized his own drug issues.

You are repeating old information. CBS got a clean copy of the data which was forensically determined to have been not modified. Not accessed at all.

Possibly.

No evidence of tampering or fabrication doesn't mean not accessed at all. It doesn't even mean no tampering or fabrication. And given that the first attempt had files that were simply timestamped later than April 2019. They've had a couple of years now to make a better fraud.

But in any case if there's no evidence of a crime, it's just data from Hunter Biden's laptop.

It does mean this. An ex secret service agent forensics guy says so. CBS news has to feel pretty confident to run the story, no? It makes the sitting president look bad.

Not really. Even the other one didn't have any evidence of criminal or unethical behaviour.

Now that the GOP had control of the house you'll see a large waste of resources investigating it. But it doesn't look like there's anything serious there.

I bet $2.50 they'll find the sweet fuck all that they uncovered with the Durham probe.
