It's an obvious attempt to discredit his father, who was not involved in any of it.

Perhaps he wasn't but to me that isn't the issue here. There are two issues at stake here in my mind.

1. Regardless of whether Joe was involved in Hunter's business dealings, the files in question very strongly suggest that Joe was lying through his teeth when he said he "had no knowledge of Hunter's foreign business dealings". Bill Clinton was impeached for a lie that was less consequential.

2. Adam Schiff and the FBI said the laptop wasn't even Hunter Biden's and none of it was legit, and it was Russian Disinformation. They clearly knew better than this, and lied during an election campaign to kill this story for political gain, while advertising themselves as the anti-corruption choice. This is a criminal conspiracy to commit election interference, and THIS is disinformation.
