All I'm saying is the Empire was good and Palpatine may have had a few good points.

they were based on Nazis, I think George Lucas may have been based because he included a lot of clues that they were secretly the good guys.

From what I read into the story world the heroes constantly keep bouncing from too much light side to too much dark side rather than finding balance.

The politics also reflect that.

Until someone can find a way to keep both the freedom loving rebels and the safety loving empire supporters somewhat happy there will always be constant conflict.

Similarly, in DS9, Gul Dukat did nothing wrong.
