NoScript + uMatrix = No issues

uMatrix might be a little too 'fiddly' for some, but it's pretty great. Once you get a look at the stuff pages try to load on your computer, you really can't go back to default permissions.

Yeah. I only allow first party images and css, and then play with the rest. It gives my life a sense of control

Same. What gets allowed depends on how desperate you are to see or use the site. Gotta love those page elements that openly call themselves adware and trackers.

Yeah, I remember when I did not have to click accept cookies or manage cookies, holy shit were those better days and sites weren't as awful as they are today with the bland looks and captchas.

    Chad's due for a comeback. It's time.

News websites had actual news on them, not two sentences and 12 adverts plus 'please register' popups, paywalls, and cookie requests.

Nah it was always the same gay shit. You had trusted cia retards who everyone thought was busting up the news though nothing happened. Nobody actually cared and a headline on the newspaper meant people where like, nah its bs i don't care. But not they have the same propaganda on the news 24/7. I can tell when people are listening to the news bc the muffled voices sound like arguments of scizos.

Owning a population is a pretty sweet deal.

The same tech is actually pretty old, they just couldn't make it in mass production. It was seen as too expensive. Nasa lost the tech bc either #1, the scientists are dumb, Or #2, the data belonged to someone else. The question is who owns it, maybe russia? Bc they wanted the us to win?

Unironically I miss old style websites. Brings me back to a simpler time.

Has anything improved between 2000 and 2019? I don't think so. Reject modernity, and only use (western) things made up to 2000.
