Indeed - teamwork. Epidemic diseases and plagues are both symbolised by the white horse:

1 White Horse: As Christ, the Gospel, or the Holy Spirit; as the Antichrist; as Roman Empire prosperity; as war; as infectious disease

2 Red Horse: As empire division

3 Black Horse: As imperial oppression

4 Pale Horse: Destroying an empire
