Physical recipe books still have value for this reason. Also because there's a bias toward edgy recipes on the Internet.

I had to buy a Mexican cook book. There's so many bad recipes out there, I had no idea how to tell them apart from good ones. Half the country seems to think Old El Paso is Mexican so you can't trust the ratings.

I feel this on a cellular level.

Sounds about right. Especially ads everywhere. I have about 5 friends on Facebook, but the last time I logged in my "feed" was 1 post from a friend then 2 advertisement posts followed by the next friend post ad infinitum. Literally 2-3 ads between every real post.

Come to think of it, that's Reddit's new strategy to maximize revenue. Every social media service enters this phase eventually.

    Accurate

It's missing something though. The 'follow along' toolbar at the top - very very few websites get it right. Also news websites are generally bad but Indian news websites have to be the absolute worst in this regard. The amount of absolute shit you have to sift through to get two bits of information!

Search for any recipe. Before you navigate to one of the godawful bloated sites that appear at the top of search results, hit F12 so you can be horrified while it loads.
