Many republicans get elected solely for not being a democrat. People don't want their personal understanding of justice, they are only expected to not openly support the furthering of tyranny.

It is a serious problem that these people do not see that the authoritarian, tyranical approaches of the Republicans, and how their policies have favored only the 1% at the expense of the 99%. Right-wing news media - whcih focuses on propaganda, disinformation and misinformation - have helped create these voters who believe in lies. Yes, therea are problems with Democrats, but at least they're working mainly for the 99% (for the most part).

When your media orders you to hate some random smiling boy and you obey without thinking, is it propaganda, disinformation or misinformation? I don't think that the revocation of all human rights counts as "some problems". Republicans at least pretend to be moral and sane.

Wealth is created naturally when people have freedom to do what they want. Creating so many complicated laws no one can learn them doesn't help, it just causes stagnation. Active mass immigration when your economy doesn't have time to stabilize itself isn't very helpful either.

Democrats have bought and destroyed all reasonable republican news media. Only the most stubborn and crazy are left. They still appear more truthful than your factcheckers.

We disagree on most of these points, and disagree fundamentally on which political party works with facts and science for the benefit of the 99%, whereas the other party is known for its lies, anti-science approaches, and it's support of the 1% at the expense of the 99%. Note also the party that continues to give massive tax breaks to the 1%, at the expense of the 99%, with a promise of trickle-down economics that has resulted since 1984 in stagnant wages for the 99% and an increase in billionnaires who are not investing in the US, and instead keeping their money off-shore. If you're not in the 1%, the Republicans have been ruining your life for 40 years, gleaning everything you've worked for.

Science and facts? Republicans ignore them. Democrats take over and corrupt institutions that work with them. Power attracts authoritarians, money attracts parasites. Science should work with businesses and donations, not with the state. otherwise, it will be turned into a religion.

One party removes obstacles. The other, removes competition. The first helps everyone, even if accidentally. The second harms everyone but themselves (they actually do harm themselves, they just can't see it yet).

When almost half the population openly supports the literal destruction of the country, why would anyone sane invest in it? Storing your money with thieves, starting a farm on a battlefield, is madness.
