The real point here is that the whole counter culture movement of the 60s and 70s came directly from Marxist theory. The message has always been to tear everything down and rebuild it with new values. And that's exactly what happened, except that instead of a brave new tomorrow we have SJWs and cancel culture and everyone is special and 3rd wave feminism and CRT and open borders and etc etc etc.

Western civilization is dying and the hippies did it.
