I think they’re mocking the authoritarian left who are suddenly taking the libertarian stance when it comes to tech monopolies censoring people.

I got that. I'm just saying that the OP is using the trope improperly. "Muh x" is used to ridicule people who have an obsession with x. The group being ridiculed (authoritarian left) isn't obsessed with private companies; it's quite the opposite.

Left was tyring to be cute and ironic, like "ha you are forgetting your own principles lollol" but this is hypocritical on so many levels. As mentioned they dont' mean ANY private company, they only mean the ones that agree with their politics, which makes them fascist and makes that statement that much more funny because leftist are so oblivious to their own illogical thinking and act like fools.
