'Or' is the opperative word, not 'and/or'.

(Studies show that if 70% of the people wore masks, there would be no serious threat of COVID.)

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

There is no serious threat now, nor ever was. The death toll worldwide is 1.4 million in all this time and you can bet that stat is padded. It's a flu, a bad flu and nothing more, so get off your high horse and stop spreading government propaganda.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (9 children)

If you refer to US government propaganda, that's part of what fucked up the US economy with this virus. Twittler persuaded numererous idiots that this is a hoax and a flu, causeing numerous deaths.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

The virus didn't fuck up the economy. The manufacture fear porn and hysteria overreaction to the "virus" did. That was perpetuated by the corporate-owned "experts", government, and media proven liars for profound profits and control. This is a class war and the ruling class are getting desperate as we all wake up to their bullshit.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I agree that there is a class war perpetuated by the 1%, but this is how a (real) problem like the virus can be used by disaster capitalists for temporary financial gain, whereas we can see in some other countries that contained the virus less of a negative economic impact. Thus, containing the virus pandemic = better economy for the 99%. Spreading propaganda that the virus is a flu = huge initial profits for the 1% because of the continuance of the virus and problems.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

All the sources of information are suspect in my view. All nations, all media, all reports. Perhaps some people actually caught a virus. Perhaps it's a bullshit test that picks up RNA pieces that are prevalent everywhere anyway. I lean toward the latter.

How the virus impacts various regions, including the economic fallout, depends on how much the ruling class needs to crush that culture. There's no statistical reason to lockdown anyone. Quarantine the sick, weak, and vulnerable - anything else is tyranny, brainwashing, and training their debt slaves - all while crushing independence, small business, and centralizing the corporatocracy's power.

Well worth re-reading under this year's situation: /s/Gaslighting/comments/6w3b/the_shock_doctrine_the_rise_of_disaster/

Oh take it back to reddit. No one here believes the virus bullshit. The world's economies are being destroyed as part of the new world order plan and you are just a change agent for said NWO

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

I think you may give me too much importance and may have spoken incorrectly for a number of us at saidit.net who believe in the truth and in science, and in debunking the Trump Admin gaslighting that makes fools think that all news media - except for Fox and Sinclaire - is bad, that facts can be considered lies, that 99.9% of scientists are wrong and other nonsense. OK then, who do you trust for your news? Is it an Twittler's handlers (McConnell, Miller, Kushners, Putin &c, &c), or is it science?

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

A blind faith in proprietary (secret) corporate "science" is a corrupt-science dogma called SCIENTISM and whether you believe me or not your belief is a new religion.

Just as socialism is a process that can be used for good, evil, and everything between, so too, the scientific method is a process to rule out what cannot be, leaving what can be perceived as some facts and truth - assuming the premise, hypothesis, and such are sound (and too often they are not). Further, this process MUST be validated by others in an open process of peer review. If the "science" is private then it's not open and not validated.

Corporations, government, banks, think tanks, and media are notoriously secretive. Trust them as far as you can throw them. In addition to their secretive ways, they also have many more abundant tools than just soft and hard censorship, deplatforming, attacking characters, attacking means of income, and dynamic silence - but those are just a start you should look into.

EVERYTHING is a conspiracy. People planned to make the complex device you're reading this on, just as much as the control structures exist to socially engineer manufactured consent of the masses. Boardrooms and smoke filled lounges are more than adequate, and there's no shortage of them openly discuss these conspiracies and concepts with those in the loop, and for us on the fringes to see and discuss while everyone else is distracted with talent shows and sports ball and movies and political theater.

THEY don't want you to hear about these things because if we knew some of us might actually do something about it.

Your faith in corporate media sources and stats is naive. You'd do better to find alternative media from diverse perspectives that reflect on corporate media if you still want to keep up with the "official" narratives. Then make up your own mind instead of lazily swallowing whatever shit they feed you.

If you're being fed and regurgitating information you're not making up your own mind.

I think we agree on most of this, and it's perhaps why we're here at saidit.net. These are - I agree - serious problems. Part of the argument you will continue to get from me, however, is that we can indeed find reliable journalism that we can corroborate with other reasonably reliable sources. But in agreement with you and others, I would never wish to use information in a self-affirming way, and instead have focused on the least refutable examples. This is a form of logic for the history of science that Karl Popper has used, as a way of clarifying that historiography should not be a series of self-affirming prophecies. Instead, we want to see which evidence is the least refutable, and corrobrate that with the least refutable. Thus hopefully we (ie. the royal 'we') can or will eventually agree on similar approaches to the truth (with the help of reasonable doubt) and science, even if it's in the midst of a lot of subversive and stochastic noise.

That account you and I have just been conversing with is such an astroturfer for the medicos I have blocked it. I hate listening to patent Lies.

I trust my brain and my eyes and my experience. I have seen enough people murdered by doctors and their unnecessary medications and procedures to know they are a necessary evil and that anything they say must be taken with the same respect that you would give to a real estate agent or car salesman.

Science, in the pursuit of wealth is one of the worst aspects on life on this planet. It's what is bringing it to the brink of destruction.

(Studies show that if 70% of the people wore masks, there would be no serious threat of COVID.)

Studies show that some people will believe anything they see on TV.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I was just about to say that - but "from corporate media".

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

It's not on TV, which is part of the problem, numb nuts.

[–]Tom_Bombadil 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It's not on TV, which is part of the problem, numb nuts.

It's not on TV?

Are you suggesting there's a lack of Coco TV coverage?

I agree with your comment about wanting more coverage about the hoax in China.

I'd like to see more fake videos of middle aged Chinese people falling over dead in the streets from this alleged virus.

This would be an eye-opener for the naively trusting public, who still believe the govt and media scumbags.

Coco is a hoax.

If you continue to be fooled by this nonsense, then we both hope you are in the front of the line to receive the experimental vaccine for the virus that has yet to be identified.

Be sure to let us know how that works out for you.

We wish you the best of luck.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

But is it corporate? If you aren't skeptical of the corporate collusion orchestrating psychological operations to social engineer us into a perpetual consumer and war state then you'll never have the wherewithal to understand how this entire scamdemic has been long since planned out, openly.

COVID-1984 is 99.99997% bullshit, perhaps more.

Calling Tom numb nuts is low tier, even if accurate. ;P

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

I think we need much more information on what happened in China with this virus last October and November. Reddit downvotes to oblivion anyone who questions the origin of the virus.

I think scientists are still trying to explain what it is and how it can be dealt with reliably.

And yes, money in politics allows corporations to direct government policy and much of the news madia, a process that expanded substantially under Reagan and thereafter.

And this is well-written: "corporate collusion orchestrating psychological operations to social engineer us"

But, alas, COVID19 ain't bullshit

My apologies to Tom

[–]Tom_Bombadil 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

we need much more information on what happened in China with this virus last October and November.

Are you referring to the world military games held in wuhan starting Oct 18, 2019?

I also suspect the hoax was supposed to be launched at this event.

That why Coco19 is named for 2019, but was announced/named in Feb/Mar of 2020; more than 5 months into the 2019/20 flu season.

I'm fairly confident someone publicly outed a major part of this PsyOp, and they had to pump the brakes for a delayed launch.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Beyond just China, there's the whole US funding of the project(s) that were started in the US. Also, you should look into Event 202 which, among many other things (Lock Step Lockdown, The Great Reset, Agenda 21 / Agenda 2030, etc) shows they planned this whole scam event.

"Experts", "leaders", billionaire exploiters, and scientists who are not censored are pushing scientism, a blind faith dogma in their corporatocracy lies. Scientists, doctors, nurses, and other experts who push back against the "official" narrative are being censored - by the thousands. Some are even questioning the very foundations of what we all understand to be "viruses". Perhaps even "viruses" are a scam too, but if we can't question we'll never know.

I'd debate you further on the COVID bullshit except it's moot. There's no point in getting into a "facts war" because the corporate media has muddied the battleground with so much bullshit that no sources are trustworthy unless you have faith in them. They have destroyed facts by manufacturing fake news sources and sourced sources and sourced sourced sources, among other tactics. Who has the time to dig down through the mountains of bullshit to find the golden truths? This is not by accident. Fuck the corporatocracy and don't trust any of them.
