I saw an article written a week ago that said covid is likely endemic now, that we'll get it like we get colds or flus. I don't know how this is all supposed to work out with the vaccine when flu shots rarely work.

Can someone explain why the media didn't focus on the external threat, China, but instantly turned inwards and started attacking our president at a time when we should've rallied together? China should be either an isolated country now or a smouldering crater. All of the prior major plagues have come from China due to their general insistence on eating non-livestock animals and generally treating animals in abhorrent, disgusting, and inhumane ways.

I suspect we're too dependent on China to seriously do anything. There's a lot of stuff we just no longer make from eyeglasses to scales to lasers, computer components, etc.. Some things there just isn't an American version you can buy.
