In the USA a generation before 9/11 they removed God from schools, then the Pledge of Allegiance. Mass media eroded people's values.

9/11 was a wake up call, there was solidarity unless you were Arab (referring to the uptick in racial violence). Then anger toward the system as people became more aware. High speed internet was reaching every home. Remember Zeitgeist? That sparked an awakening for the general public. People used to look at CTs as nutjobs, but they ended up becoming the norm.

As social media took off people became self absorbed again and their offspring was born into this knowing no different. Now they are rewriting history. Even before 2020 you can see how they were doing it in films. What's funny is there was a nearly all black movie with a token white guy recently.

That is a good summary of how we got here. I want to go back! Yes, I remember In Plain Sight and Zeitgeist. I was a complete nut-job all the time Bush was president but finally learned to shut up about 9/11 unless with a fellow nut.

Gauguin's questions: Where do we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going?
