Really cool that you created a video game. Now for the criticism...

Speaking on survival mode:

  1. You shouldn't make a game that borrows/steals intellectual property. So, those drawings, and audio clips you took need to be changed.

  2. When I open this game in Win 10, the screen size was 4:3. That cut off a few of the buttons for me. So, widescreen should be the default.

  3. I died a couple times playing the game because I didn't know what to do. You should have a brief message saying what the controls are. I was trying to press the spacebar in the beginning.

  4. This is a copy of Flappy Bird. My advice, try making your game a little different. Pipes? Why not something else? Maybe it could be a building that you have to avoid. Maybe it could be famous buildings, too. The Eiffel Tower, Pyramids, I dunno. You choose. And maybe you could make it so that I can increase my score, maybe by collecting coins, or something else?

  5. Make it so that I have to click less. So much clicking. It isn't fun. If I press a button it shouldn't make me jump just a little. Give me more jump for each click.

  6. Your game has no sound effects. Actions need sound effects. If I press the button, then I want to hear something happening.

  7. Give me some music while playing. It doesn't have to be complex. Just use a music maker, and make a very short song that can loop. And give the player the option to turn it off.

  8. The sounds you use are really annoying. So loud, and annoying but not funny. Change 'em.

  9. When I press the buttons in the menu there should be a sound to confirm the press. It helps with the presentation.

About the multiplayer:

The multiplayer has a lot of the same problems as the flappy bird clone.

  1. Annoying sounds, or no sounds for certain actions. No music. This is a problem.

  2. Obviously, don't borrow people's intellectual property.

  3. What are the controls? Tell us before we dive in.

  4. When I press the buttons it isn't satisfying. The actions are so small, and aren't exciting. The jumping is awful. Look at how Mario jumps. When you jump, it's a satisfying jump. I can jump high, or jump a bit. He doesn't just do little hops.

  5. I get stuck so easily on the levels. The jumping you have does nothing to enhance the game. I can barely move around.

  6. Your games need more depth, and polish. It's pretty much just me moving around, moving, and not doing anything. This game needs to have impact.

Conclusion: Listen, I know you're a beginner. But keep making video games, and get better at it. Don't be discouraged. But you do need to improve. This game is really bad. I will literally never play it again. But you're learning, and that's good. You have to keep pushing forward. Don't think that the criticism here is negative. All beginners, in any art, will suck.

My advice for you is have some focus. Don't do a lot of things poorly. Do one thing well. Best of luck to you, man.

I completely agree with all the points you made except for this one >>What are the controls? Tell us before we dive in. And tbh you're still right since it's my job to make sure that the player sees the help screen when he starts playing the game.

The Eiffel Tower, Pyramids that's actually a really cool idea There are a lot of things that I never even considered for the sole reason that I took them for granted. Thank you a lot for the review! Idk how many people take so much out of their time to write a useful review that contains constructive criticisms.
