All the exiled Zimbabwean farmers I've met in London have actually been mixed race. That's what counts a white in Africa in many of these stories but it gets misinterpreted by the western media or sometimes they know what's meant but they actually purposely find the one 99% white farmer and put his picture on the piece. And they all very much identify as white Africans not as European or expats or whatever westerners tend to view them as.

Damn your right. Or the muslim/jewish immigration officers won't let them in. Maybe there are some in Australia?

Russia's the only country I'm aware of to open their doors to White South Africans.

people who have a shared culture and heritage and speak the same language as Australians and who would love and bring high value to Australia and whose lives are literally in danger.

To be fair, this shouldn't be enough to allow immigration into your country. I don't care how many poor white people need gibs, if they won't add anything to the community I don't want them either.

The argument is regarding asylum seekers, so the motive is to give them safety rather than expecting productive immigrants unless of course, you are against the whole refugee intake altogether. Secondly, I'd personally want people who have originally been highly productive in their homeland, are like me in terms of culture and appearance foremost in terms of preference.

For the most part I am. I understand your argument of "if we're going to do this, these people are the most likely to be compatible" but I don't really agree with this idea that other countries should be dumping grounds for countries in turmoil.

I disagree with this notion that if you have it bad enough in your country you should just be given a golden ticket into another. This is a big problem with immigration from latin america. Any women can approach the border and claim her husband smacks her around and apply for asylum.

Within the last decade, I mean.
