Hopefully just a little extreme. Reddit expunged a significant chunk of its user-base as a drastic form of control to steer away uncomfortable or extreme content, but its odd to call it tyranny. It is a corporate or watered down variation based on some degree of business reasoning for the sake of operations.

Absolute tyranny though is like the saudi where you got a death penalty for posting something counter-narrative online. If it ever comes to that in the west, it will have to be time for some real defiance. It simply goes too far against the values of what the internet should be. Get ready and practice vigilance!

The SJW crazies have taken over the asylum. Free speech is dead. I'm not talking about offensive speech. I'm talking about being able to discuss non-extremist ideas and contexts that are present here on SaidIt that will get you banned on Reddit. Conform to group think or suffer the consequences. I'm not even a Redditor and I still care - and it's not just Reddit.

How much tyranny is acceptable? I have no free speech but at least I'm not in chains. I'm in chains but at least I'm not whipped. I'm whipped but at least I'm alive. I'm dead. I wish I did something when I had the chance.

IT WILL GET MUCH WORSE, sooner or later, but it's not going to get better until after - IF it even can. PEOPLE ARE STARVING NOW! And this is only the beginning.

Indeed, practice vigilance. Prepare for the WORST and hope for the best.

Do you actually think an iceberg sunk Titanic?

You could make a factual meme that would be misunderstood, where British cronies are renovating the irreparable Olympia, and starting internal coal fires before the ship even set to see.

They murdered the US industrialist establishment leaders and launch an early NWO assault 116 years ago, which set the stage for the FED coup.

Add in some fake news reports, and a bungled/corrupt Congressional inquiry.

This factual Titanic meme idea is certain to be a knee-slapper... ;-)

It seems abundantly clear that the critically damaged and crudely patched up uninsurable Olympic swapped names with the Titanic, sister ships also with the Britannic, and then was intentionally sunk in an insurance scam while murdering 3 billionaires of their time. The wreckage seems to show a boiler room explosion, and it's well documented a coal fire perpetually burned down there since before they left Ireland, whether they were a legit problem or even the cause or not I couldn't say. The empty California was supposed to rescue them but failed due to a "perfect storm" of events so to speak.

I looked on my https://infogalactic.com/info/Truther_Newbie_Crash_Course to find our previous conversation on this and my nutshell of it (/s/history/comments/82r/john_jacob_astor_freemason_intel_operative_and/hng) and I include a lot of links for the curious.

The meme you propose sounds complicated. But I'm up for a challenge. I might revisit the former image linked on this page, that d3rr and I thought would be a guaranteed popular criticism of Reddit, but sunk faster than the Titanic Olympic.

but sunk faster than the Titanic Olympic.

A great closing statement.

What exactly do you think will happen when the "Titanic" does its thing? Will there be a mass Exodus to SaidIt, or will each sub become its own site, just like T_D?

I am hoping for the later.

Agreed, but federated, like Mastodon and PeerTube, so one account can be used across many decentralized sites.

Rewatched Titanic a few days, still am feeling sad. As a film about the hubris of man that's eventually crushed by mother nature, it's the perfect analogy for many social movements that try to fix society.

I know some of the animators who worked on Titanic.

If you want to blow your mind, research into the Titanic conspiracy that I linked on this page.
