It's funny on multiple levels.

In academia, you're not allowed to indicate any personal preference against any plausible demographic. Professors have been disciplined for absurd statements, such as indicating they wouldn't want to date a 7 ft tall woman, or 500 lbs man, or whatever.
This is stupid for obvious reasons.

However, everyone accepts distain for blue skinned, or green skinned people. This is an unprotected demographic.
