its the perfect form of control to strip the bill of rights.

for years they have separate us by race and gender and left and right.

now all they took was a flu season to brainwash people on MSM and social media to isolate what little we had left coming together- single isolation and social distancing.

It's so perfect it could only come out of a book like 1984

Hey look! It’s a user who can type words onto the internet!

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

I admit it. I'm a shill. What is it that I'm shilling exactly?

Honey knows I'm a shill because they've been on this site for 1 hour, and has stalked and responded to me several times over. To be honest, I think this /u/hone is actually /u/daikuji and possibly /u/wizzwizz4 who was absent for months, then messaged me kindly, once, recently, 7 days ago. Then this daikuji person shows up and it was early on that I realized this person has huge reasoning issues and is poisoning many conversations, often bitterly, perhaps ignorantly and/or possibly intentionally, just like wizzwizz4 used to do. I hadn't said anything because I didn't want to unnecessarily besmirch wizzwizz4, yet now hone suddenly appears.

Curiously, /u/wizzwizz4's last public comment was 4 months ago (but messaged me 7 days ago) and /u/daikuji's was last comment was 5 hours ago (with a 15 day old account) and in the single hour of /u/hone's existence on SaidIt, they have made 3 posts and 13 comments, 10 of which are aimed at me. They may not all be the same person but their reasoning skills are often equally terrible.

For the record, I'm not /u/hone. If you're bored enough to trawl through my comment history, you'll see I've never called anybody a shill. For all my reasoning faults, it's not my style; I'd talk about a "conflict of interest" or something. The only way this could be me is if I were trying to discredit anti-Semitism by associating it with such inanity. (But I don't really think it needs my help with that.) Or, possibly, try discredit anti-Israel sentiment by associating it with anti-Semitism? But that's out of character, too, because I don't really care enough about the geopolitics of the Levant to (badly) employ dark-side epistemology.

Plus, you know, I don't use alts. (But you don't have any way of verifying that.)

I think this user is being honest at simulacrum level 2 – that is, their words are lies, but their sentiment isn't deception; you can take their slander of you as an honest "I don't like /u/JasonCarswell". I think /u/hone is probably an alt, but perhaps not of the same person; there are a lot of people who talk like that and I struggle to tell the difference between them.

A tip: since you identified a connection that wasn't there, be slightly more wary to make connections in future – though not much more wary, because this is only one failure, and you'd be silly to aim for a 0% false positive rate. Perhaps write them down, or use something like PredictionBook to help calibrate your certainty.

I thought it was only coincidental that you'd reached out, and I was careful to be clear about that among other things. Perhaps I should have said more about how you never seemed malicious, despite often being wrong and/or confused/confusing and/or irritating.

I'm already wary and that's why noticed the connection that wasn't there - thought it was curious. I did nothing wrong and I will continue to call it out as I see it. I happy my suspicions of your innocence are verified and part of that other theory can be put aside.

I haven't seen LessWrong since you were here, good stuff. I won't need PredictionBook.

You sound like youve been found out. You've been looking for mod approval for a year now. Hilarious.

Oh come on now, could you be any less of an obvious shit stirring drama queen? Jason's views tend to be reasonable and moderate. You however aren't providing proof of your accusations, stirring the pot....and well..acting like an actual shill.

[–]beermeem 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

I consider myself right leaning. In fact, I’ll 100% be voting for Trump like I did four years ago. And I find myself agreeing /u/JasonCarswell the vast majority of the time. If he wants to consider himself left leaning, I could give a crap.

Back when I was left leaning myself, I had several right leaning friends who actually opened up my mind to the idea of civil discourse.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Likewise. Except the Trump vote as I'd vote Green or Libertarian, but I'm Canadian.

LOL, I "tend" to agree with your fine review.

Maybe it's different for others, but I was concerned about the virus and wearing masks long before the government was concerned (or anyone else outside of prepperish communities, for that matter), and even when the government said it was no big deal. This isn't a government thing, but a personal and public safety one that some governments just happen to support and sometimes use as an excuse to push dubious agendas like tracking apps. I believe people should oppose the tyranny while still supporting personal responsibility against the virus, like with wearing masks.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I agree, take personal responsibility where you feel it's warranted.

Mandatory anything is tyranny.

good god, the right CANT MEME FOR SHIT

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 5 insightful - 5 fun5 insightful - 4 fun6 insightful - 5 fun -  (5 children)

You fucking idiot, I lean left for the umpteenth time.

YOU are the Robin in this Batman bitchslapdown!

[–]hone 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

leaning left just means you have a political agenda. nobody that is real actually cares about parties bc it's just their opinion. Nobody that is real has left or right leaning opinions in totality unless shill or brainwashed.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Everyone has a perspective. Leaning left just means I agree with more of their ideas than the right. It's a lean, not an identity, nor an agenda. I don't expect to get everything I want, but I expect to be able to express myself and to discuss and negotiate my position on things.

I don't care about the tribal parties, however, it's untrue that "real" people must not have preferences, leanings, opinions, tribes, etc. They are free to do so if the like - and remain real. Multiple contrasting perspectives can be simultaneously valid - even if it is a brainwashed dogma.

We all have blind spots, even the best among us. Even you nay-sayer.

[–]hone 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

so you have your own ideaology but you call it left? Bc that's what media told you it was.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Waste of time.
