Because "they" told you so.

[–]daikuji 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (20 children)

if this were a manufactured virus, it would be much worse

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (19 children)

Are you fucking kidding me? How is that any measure? How do you know it won't be? How do you know they won't blame more than a flu on this virus and start disappearing people? How do you know they haven't already (21 million phones offline in China)? How do you know it wasn't just a test run? How do you justify the manufactured response, global shut down, economic and social collapse, the unemployment, and utter nonsense conflicting propaganda? Stop being a knee jerk nay-sayer. Think man.

its really tough to find out things like that, and if its true "21 million phones offline in china" doesnt mean anything

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

Your reasoning is flawed on so many levels.

"its really tough to find out things like that"

So what? Just give up? Spout other nonsense? There is no reason to assume that it could be better or worse if it were a manufactured virus - especially when you bring no proof to back your statement.

"'21 million phones offline in china' doesnt mean anything"

It means something, even if you don't have the capacity to see it. First, obviously it means something is fishy in China. Secondly it means something happened to 21 people. Are they dead, sick, offline, thrifty, or destitute? Third, it has something to do with their phones. Was it technical, environmental, or was it a governmental reason? How does it all relate? To be determined. It's NOT nothing.

First, why should I even bother to look at your sources when you won't even look at mine.

Second, Snopes is utter garbage, not to mention unproven doesn't mean proven nor disproven. I'd prove they are garbage to you but you won't look at my sources anyway and will just nay-say like autistic broken record.

Third, CTV, AP, etc are corporate media corrupt as fuck. See #2.

Fourth, why should I bother referencing a perpetually antisocial nay-sayer.

[–]daikuji 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

yeah but you guys dont look at proof, you just go by "is it a right wing source, if so ,its true" the right wing is nothing but lies, and you didnt debunk it, you cant just say "its snopes its wrong" or "its CTV AP so its false" the left wing media is usually backed by PROOF and EVIDENCE i know its hard for you righties to comprehend proof and evidence, you guys just go by faith

I'll repeat myself because you can't seem to absorb this. Many of us here on SaidIt are NEITHER left nor right, and just because some don't align with your values of left, doesn't mean they are all right, it just means you've got tribalist blinders on and are acting like an idiot when you don't need to.

Personally I'm a left-leaning minarchist. I don't give a fuck about left and right because it's a bullshit distraction from the real war between tyranny of the ruling class (including both left AND right of the same warhawk business party) and freedom for humanity.

I didn't even look at them to have an opinion on those pages. I criticized the sources only. I don't know if they are true or not. This is the SAME LAZY METHOD AND LOGIC YOU USED to "debunk" my list of stuff you should look into.

Maybe you should take a minute now, to go back and check them out. Then we can discuss them, and/or these links you've presented.

I'm very familiar with CTV, as I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and very well know about the advanced propaganda they push on people here. My boomer parents still buy their shit because they're too lazy to look anything up online themselves and prefer the bullshit spoon fed to them, as you obviously do.

Yeah it did. There's no superbug.

          It's all been a hoax.

          [–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (8 children)

          ?

          [–]Tom_Bombadil 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

You think the Coco flu is a superbug? If not, then there are a few possibilities.

          It could be:

          • Natural (or minimally modified, as I suspect most flus are)
          • Has an intentional, but yet-to-be-determined physiological impact
          • A bungled superbug

The hysterical media/government reaction is 100% a hoax.

China had it's own motivations for initiating this hoax, because there were months of environmental protests opposing pollution in Wuhan.

You're not allowed to protest there, so thousands of people were furious AF and literally willing to risk it all.

          [–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

It could also be an engineered bioweapon(s), bad statistics, or, I'm leaning toward the idea that viruses are not even what they've been saying all along and that they're testing us for stuff we naturally have in our systems, and blaming it on that, meanwhile something else is actually causing the problem(s). Kind of like a magician using distracting gestures.

For example, what if, and I'm just pulling this out of my ass with zero references made up on this spot with no science nor credentials... What if you were a pesticide manufacturer and you had something that was pretty good but like peanut butter poisoned some folks, but mildly, mostly? Maybe you could develop scientism to make it seem like a flu, and you modify your pesticide recipe every season, and you focus your scientism research on different parts of naturally occurring RNA code, etc. Or instead of pesticides it's GMOs or something else in our systems (like fluoride or 5G or chemtrails (all clichés I know) or whatever we don't control), or substitute whatever you like. Maybe it's all an epic food/health/scientism trick. Or maybe I'm now overreaching.

          [–]Tom_Bombadil 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

          I know what you're saying.

Viruses are solvent devices created by the body to do X or Y.

This is a fact. Viruses are the natural nanobots that change a single cell into baby, etc.
They are the biological construction workers that operate in the background.

They are communicable cause that herpes can spread. My college roommate dated a girl who denied it was a cold sore.
His face later confirmed it was a cold sore.

So the nanobots can jump similar ships.

I have serious doubts about the possibility of contracting viruses from bats, or monkeys. :-/

          [–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

At least from this whole thing I've learned that "viruses" are actually as important to us as bacteria, and so much of us is this "extra" matter.

          [–]Tom_Bombadil 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Are you referring to junk DNA, which is basically a portion of biological code that is archived, and no longer being used?

Edit: or after you referring to the virome, which is active virus bioecology

          [–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

When I said "extra" matter, I meant that humans are largely water and half bacteria and viruses and mites and such (more or less) and our DNA is actually only half (more or less) of our mass. Plus I have a tape worm. :P

          [–]DffrntDrmmr 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

          humans are largely water

Tell me about it. I'm two-thirds water and make a splashy sound when I walk.
