Assuming you believe he was actually murdered.

He wasn't.

Do you have any supporting evidence for your claim beyond the official cause of death?

Here are a few of the dubiously reported details. It is confusing if one assumes that he was murdered or commited suicide. It makes perfect sense if one suspects that they actually freed him from prison.

Epstein Autopsy Complete -- Why is cause of deaath ‘Pending Further Information’?

Hanging: New York City Medical Examiner The autopsy report finds that the sex offender killed himself in jail. - His lawyers say they are “not satisfied” with the medical examiner’s conclusion.

Even Epsteins lawyers aren't even satisfied with the verdict.

Jeffrey Epstein's body claimed by unidentified 'associate'

The person who claimed Epstein's body was described only as an "Epstein associate."

Sure. His "associate" claimed the body... Why wouldn't his family???

So, in conclusion:

  • Epstein Autopsy Complete -- Why is cause of deaath ‘Pending Further Information’?
  • His lawyers say they are “not satisfied” with the medical examiner’s conclusion.
  • His "body claimed by unidentified 'associate'".

Intel agencies won't have many people signing up for their cause(s); if they have a history of betraying their own agents if/when they are caught.

Epstein was caught committing the crimes that he was ordered to commit. He has compromised innumerable elite Americans, and others.. And the blackmail material is just as useful today as it was in the past.
Some intel agency (probably Israeli) sprung him from prison. Flew him to Tel Aviv, and lavished him with honors.

The suicide story is a convenient way of wrapping up the investigation, and avoiding a public trial.

Wouldn't it be more surprising if they didn't do this... ?

All of your points are valid for murder as well.

Sure. His "associate" claimed the body... Why wouldn't his family???

An associate of Epstein could also be a legit business partner and friend of the family.

Or perhaps it could be that the family has disowned him because he's basically a proven child rapist, and they hired a firm...

Why haven't there been questions from the family regarding the missing body if they wanted it and its "stolen"?

  • Epstein Autopsy Complete -- Why is cause of deaath ‘Pending Further Information’?

Because its inconclusive regarding the cause of death, since the way the bones in his throat were crushed isn't exclusive to suicide?

  • His lawyers say they are “not satisfied” with the medical examiner’s conclusion.

Because the way the bones in his throat were crushed could indicate murder?

Wouldn't it be more surprising if they didn't do this... ?

Not in my opinion.

He was a honeypot trap. That was his assignment.

Killing him would guarantee the release of the compromising evidence that he created/had access to.

Setting him free would mean that these peoples secret was safe.

They would have been crazy to assassinate him. They were not crazy.
