WaPo review indulges in myth, claims Bernstein’s ‘work brought down a president’. You’d think editors at the Washington Post might have turned to statements by its Watergate-era principals before allowing a mythical claim about the scandal to appear in a book review that was published today.

they did but why, usually CIA media wouldn't report on such a thing. Nixon criticized israel, forced out for that

Woodward and Bernstein were tools.

Nixon rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, he didn't play the game, and they forced him out for doing stuff we don't even blink at these days.

Nixon wasn't a perfect man, but in many ways he was one of our greatest presidents, and we treated him like shit. Kind of deserve the bed we've made.
