Yeah this idea a reddit sub is causing the stock market to fail is nonsense.

The stock market is simply about to crash, and they need a scapegoat

Even if it is true, I see no wrong in it. People are choosing to get together and take a risk with their money. Some hedge fund group taking a hit or going out of business doesnt bother me at all, even less so with how many other businesses have died from the government mandates. Did no one tell them investing is a risky business?

I don't have a problem with it either, I just find it to be an unbelievable story because I don't think the amount of capital that subreddit has in total even compares to what these hedgefund guys have on a daily basis. So I just think the story is untrue or exaggerated, but I could be wrong.

Many people in WSB claim to have made millions, if you believe them. Some even show screen shots of their trading apps as proof. I always took it with a grain of salt, but it's possible there is big money involved.

There's probably a few big investors on there for sure. I guess it's possible. I do feel like the whole story is a coverup for the fact the stock market itself is about to crash though, it dropped 3% in one day a couple days ago

Yeah seems pretty suspicious
