Green actually means "average".

Most folks are between 85 and 115. 110 is still very close to 99.
I'm not that smart at only 130, barely a Genius, far from 140 Mensa. (*According to a high school test c.1987.)

What you're saying is technically correct, but cynical and misleading. I've only had a rudimentary look at statistics, but even I know that "110 is still very close to 99" isn't a useful observation.
It's more accurate to say that over half of the population is within ~15% of the average intelligence, as measured by IQ scores.

Cynical but true. Most people overestimate their own awareness.
Myself included.
Would you be happier if I said 105 is close to 99. That's still a metric fucktonne. Close is subjective. My point is made regardless.
wizzwizz4 should rename to nitpick2much

Most people overestimate their own awareness.
Oh, now that's a different thing. IQ doesn't generally measure that.
Would you be happier if I said 105 is close to 99.
No. I'd be happier if you said 105 is close to 100. "Close to below" is useless. "Close to the boundary between above and below" is slightly less useless. "Close to average" is more useful, because it's both a useful value and not misrepresented.
And a better name would be something like "pedant4norealpurpose" because it has a 4 in it.

No, it support my premise that most people are stupider than you may think.
I didn't say "close to below". I said close to stupider.
I can't believe we're dissecting and debating a pun.
I'm done.

Recognizing you need self-improvement doesn't mean you've improved. But at least it's a first step.
