There's no way a standardized dataset relating to IQ exists for every nation on Earth. Much of this must be made up.
*** here is more info on the "dataset" https://www.researchgate.net/project/Worlds-IQ

Also, it doesn't seem like the IQ score is properly normalised; 100 should be the mean average, but it doesn't look like that's the case here. Data seems fake.
Edit: Or they could've normalised it based on a US IQ score. There are other issues with the data, though.

I came here thinking that iq stood for something I didn't know. No way this is legit data!
I love how Africa is just the dumbest place in the world. /s
I really call bs on this map.

Why? The average IQ of the US is 100. Subsaharan Africa is 65. Japan is about 110. The map looks accurate to me.

The map looks accurate to me.
Oh, lucky us, we have a resident expert on the subject.

To be fair, some IQ tests include reading comprehension et al. They haven't said which tests and metrics they're using though, and it doesn't seem to match up to any of the admittedly low-quality lists I've found online.
I'm giving up on trying to justify this map until we get a proper source for the data.
