    That's not what POV means

I think "point of view" applies.

No point of view would give you a 2D map of the universe with an arbitrary selection of objects organized into a column. Also, using it in this context would imply that the image shows what the universe itself sees (POV is usually meant to refer to the 1st person perspective of the person/object being alluded to).

Then I guess all other 2D maps of our solar system or outer space configurations are equally void too.

The titles say nothing about being from the Universe's perspective.

In this case, the 1st person perspective is from that tiny blue dot called Spaceship Earth.

Never saw a space map that was meant to be POV based. All space maps tend to represent things from no special view point and with skewed positions and scale in order to be easier to comprehend (just like the one OP posted).

The titles say nothing about being from the Universe's perspective.

If you add POV to the title, then that is going to be exactly what it means.

In this case, the 1st person perspective is from that tiny blue dot called Spaceship Earth.

Earth is itself visible in the map, so the viewer can't be in it. Also, it would have to be named "POV you are Earth" or something like that.

Also, come to think of it, "slice" doesn't apply here either xD

Viewer can be in orbit above Earth. You're just arguing for the sake of it.

OP never said POV, nor slice.

POV is synonymous with perspective. From a perspective it's a decent representation to convey the information in an educational tool. For accuracy you wouldn't ever go with a painting.

You're overthinking it. And failing to refute.

    ...from low orbit.

If you zoom in even closer... you can see his micropenis, he's proudly doing the helicopter with. As usual.

Google didn't blur it out because their algorithms mostly are gold-grade bullshit regarding actually respecting its users rights and clicks.

If you zoom as far out as you can, his mum appears.

This chart is implying jupter is multiple orders of magnitude larger than the sun
