I couldn't find any maps with Arkansas' current minimum wage: $11.00 an hour, so I made this one. We look kind of out of place on the map, since the rest of the South has really low minimum wages, and there's a reason why: it wasn't passed by the General Assembly, but rather forced by a ballot initiative.

This ballot initiative won in a landslide: 68.46%! Donald Trump didn't even get that much of the vote here, yet we're considered "safe Republican". Arkansans are surprisingly progressive on economics, despite being socially conservative.
