I thought south America was more populated. I realize a large part is the Amazon, but it's not that big. Same with Australia, I knew it was mostly roo land but that's kind of wild how much room they have for activities. I would move there if they weren't such weak betas.

I looked it up out of curiosity:

North America population: 579 million

Central America population: 47 million

South America population: 422 million

I think it's mostly that people are incredibly crammed on to the coasts in South America, because that's how it was settled by the Spanish, by boat. Whereas the US has plains that are easily traversable.

And Australia turns out to be 95% uninhabitable desert. Also the total pop of Australia is only 25 million, which seems crazy low to me. Texas alone has 29 million

I found southern africa to be surprisingly empty. And the vertical line down the middle of the US is kind of wild, how abrupt the drop off is as you go west

That line marks the point where farms to the east receive enough rainfall to thrive and the land to the west requires irrigation for crops or to shun planting and engage in animal husbandry that can munch on the natural vegetation.

Interesting. I was about to argue that it marked the area where a heavy amount of federally owned land started .... but I checked, and that line is a little bit farther to the west than what we're looking at in the map above.

Here's a map of fed land for reference

Poor Nevada.

LOL, yes, those poor destitute military bases and casinos... if only they had more funding.

Hm that is quite interesting, it is about 1 state to the west compared to the population line. Amazing what a ridiculous percentage of land they own over there... that's just nuts

That is interesting. Just west of the Missouri River.

That's a decent location for a homestead bunker; assuming there's a local source of water.

Not many trees before the mountains.

The plus side would be you could see anyone coming for about half a mile.

It's like in south park. We aren't humans.

[–]magnora7[S] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Haha there's only 37 million Canadians.

Meanwhile Texas alone has 29 million people

Traitor Trudeau wants to replace the evil, vile White filth with slant-eyes from the Orient and Moslem barbarian filth from Islamic cesspools.

You can see the Nile River in deep red.

De Nile is a popular place.

But everywhere outside of it is barren.

As dry and barren as my attempt at a joke.

M7 posted a US map of federal land. I'd like to see a Canada map of crown land since there doesn't seem to be one online in DDG image search.
