I guess you could make a longer route by zig-zagging randomly, but these are the farthest two points that can be connected by train, is maybe a better way to say it.

Fun fact: it is 14 times cheaper to transport goods by sea than by land. The US Navy rules the waves. China isn't doing B&R because it's a good idea or because it's better, they're doing it because they literally have no other choice.
