American companies suck up to China in the hopes they'll be able to sell their products there, or in fear of retribution from the CCP. Google tried making a censored version. Hollywood is practically owned by China. They literally own Legendary Entertainment Group.

I made a little graphic of how they control the US. It's worth looking through. Most of it revolved around Tencent, which is a huge national security threat.

This is pretty absurd on it's face, but the larger trend you are pointing out is very interesting. I'll just add the US's treatment of Huawei regarding the 5G rollout as a counter example.

To be honest, we ain't hard enough on Huawei; it should be banned from doing business in the US, same with every other Chinese Communist company. Perhaps we should even issue an embargo.
