Gen X Was the Political Generation. Then things changed, and now I’m often told that Gen X were apolitical slackers who got religion when they hit their 30s and became just more corporate sheep.

yeah like hippies in 60s moved right and voted reagan in the 80s. People always become more conservative as they age as they gain life expereince and see how the world really is. It's a cycle, world history is always old vs young, because there will always be a new supply of young people that are easily brainwashed.

Those were yuppies. Hippies hated Reagan, Thatcher, Kohl, and wanted the Soviet Union to win the Cold War.

hippies became yuppies. People that remained hippies may have hated Reagan but there weren't that many of them or he wouldn't have wond by landslide.

Nope. There was largely no overlap between the groups. It's a media myth. Sorry you fell for it, but you really shouldn't trust a word they say.
