As long as China is backing the North there will never be a unified Korea.

China isn't backing the norks. Where do you get your information from? They stopped a number of years ago. They got Burma to change by telling them, "try our way and get fabulously rich." Burma did, and now they're expanding like crazy. The Chinese went to Pyongyang and said the same thing, and the norks outright refused. Kim purged the China-supporting members of the nork government.

They stopped a number of years ago.

A large number of their outside supplies are routed through China. If China's not "officially" helping them, then some powerful Chinese are doing it solo to make a quick buck.

This just in, lots of Chinese will do whatever it takes to make money.
