"The white man." "When an honest man learns he is mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken, or he will cease to be an honest man." I believe we are all trying to be better. It takes knowledge of things like this story to guide us towards more harmony and less war. Thanks for putting this out. I just recently learned of the Washita River "Battle" in Oklahoma. So many, too many, stories like this. At that time, I am sure "The white man" felt justified. They were so very wrong. And in all fairness, other men "not white" have done the same. Genghis Kahn?
