/u/Rastafoo that sub has been a problematic spam sub. We could try out keeping the spam settings set to all for links and self posts. That means you would have to regularly maintain the sub to approve non-spam submissions and add approved submitters. You would have to look at every new submission to determine if it was spam or not. If it was a legitimate non-spam article you would have to approve it and potentially add the submitter to the approved submitters. You'd have to make sure spam is removed and non-spam is approved. There's also existing spam that would have to be removed. Would you want to do all that?
