  • student loans: state power, rising
  • food stamps: state power, rising
  • federal debt: state power, rising
  • money printing: state power, rising
  • insurance costs: state power, rising
  • labor force participation: populace, declining
  • workers' share of economy: populace, declining
  • median family income: populace, declining
  • home ownership: populace, declining

Now ask yourself this: Where is the incentive for the state to respond to concerns of the populace?
