The number itself is still obviously growing, but the rate at which it grows peaked 50 years ago and has only been declining ever since.

World population is expected to naturally peak at about 11-12 billion, and then we will live in a different era of stabilization rather than rapid explosive growth. This will cause big changes to world culture as the decades pass. Like the number of homes will match the number of people, instead of constantly needing to build new ones. Food supply chains will be stable instead of growing so it will be easier to prevent catastrophes. It might actually become possible to feed all the children. It could create a golden age of prosperity naturally, just simply for supply and demand reasons. It is interesting to think about.

While we could certainly become a sustainable species, "they" don't want that.

Here's a second data source showing the rate of population growth: http://www.vhemt.org/worldpopgrowrate1950-2050.jpg

This one shows it peaking in about 1964. I think the dip in 1960 is from Mao's "Great Leap Forward"

Without growth, economists and economies will shit a brick.

The whole fucking model is based on growth is good.

Yup. But that's going to become an outdated and unsustainable model, so a new model will be forced to become the focus.

*Still young nigga, still capable of doing great things.

Life is short. You aren't old. You know what I've been wondering lately? It's my first time actually reading the bible from start to finish (I'm just curious, ok), and as the lineage of "man" unfolds, each generation went from living long ass lifespans (like 845) to living to 92. Wtf happened? God even fucked with Abram (gave him the Abraham lineage and name! Vamped up from Abram!) but his life-span was still shot by like 500 years compared to his fore-fathers.

Imagine if we had life-spans like that today? lol 50 years would be a joke (it still is imho, we live so fucking short. Just long enough to participate in the world that came before us, and see the new world forming). There was some dudes in the bible who didn't bust their first nut until they were like 72, dead ass. lmao. Imagine having your first kid/busting your first nut at 72? And living to be 889 years old? Geeze.

Even crazier when people's lifespan was like 36 or 42.

Imagine being the underaged semi-disposable wife of some 72 year old dude?

I never bought that old age shit. Maybe it's weeks or seasons or some other terrible translation - or more miracle shit.

If he's 72 but lives to 845, is he like 8yo in our years? Or is he old and wrinkly and broken at 72 - and only getting worse? NONE of it makes any sense.
