There are a lot if interesting patterns, but what is even more interesting is where you expect a pattern or symmetry but it isn't there. For example 4,1 is a W so you would expect 1,4 to be an E or a 3 but it is a spring with 3 Lobes per side.

Why does one pairing have 2 lobes per side and the other 3? Is the column and the row not spinning at equal rates?
