It's optional. Just like Odyssey where you had a plethora of gay characters that were fond of Alexios/Cassandra. I've always rejected all their advances. Of course I've always accepted advances from female characters when I played with Alexios. :D This isn't the real issue of this game. The issue is whether they forced black characters in the Viking era. It won't fit one bit and if they really did that, the moment I see a black character I will immediately ask for refund. Easy.
