Cringe-worthy? I agree and you ask a good question. Hmm, the man who owns the world or someone working for him, has put Global Warming on the agenda of things to distract young people and anger the rest of us.

Maybe they want to unite the world around this bogus idea that we are killing Mother Nature and the world will end in twelve years. "How dare you!! You've taken away MY future."

Then, after the world is united around this false issue, they step in and take over. Whatever their thinking, it is a Global Psyop and I think we can expect more, just like the bogus shootings in the US. You know that dear sweet Greta is listed on IMDB, right? She's an actress like her parents, and we'll be seeing more of her.

Why did they choose her? Look at her IMDB page and you'll see that she's been working with them for some time now and they chose her as the poster girl for "Climate Change". Is the purpose to make us feel guilty about this non-issue? Don't believe the hype.

Yep! All the pollution and plastic is fake, right along with the oceans. Also you are jumping to conclusions without any real thought... how will they step in and take over?

I think Greta didn't mention any plastic although I can't stand to watch her for more than thirty seconds so may have missed that part of her speech. How will they "step in"? How should I know but the fact that millions of people are following little Greta, makes it clear that they have already stepped in. Please point out other conclusions I have jumped to.

People aren't following little Greta, you are putting the baby before the bathwater due to hysteria; her speech was a publicity stunt for people to consider accepting new regulations because the situation is projected to get worse. It doesn't mean that it has already happened with ink on paper over some ludicrous amounts.

As far as "stepping in", forces have been attempting to legislate on environmental issues since the EPA was founded in the 70's. A lot of movements have been productive, while others have been questionable like killing elephants for nature (Not the EPA). The trump administration has been legislating on environmental issues as well.

Your conclusions are based on hysteria. Do some calm research and take some time to figure things out first. You don't even know how "they will step in" if there is a united front against basic environmental concerns, your statements don't even make sense.
