This is not a racial slur as some of you may think but a nearly archaic political term: dark horse | ˌdärk ˈhôrs | noun a candidate or competitor about whom little is known but who unexpectedly wins or succeeds: [as modifier] : a dark-horse candidate. ORIGIN early 19th century: originally racing slang.

    Do you mean publish on demand? I've used lulu.com when they were one of the first POD companies. They did good work but the demand was pretty low.
