Been using it for years for personal and business. Works perfect and cost nothing. I don't understand...

I use LibreOffice in Ubuntu. Thunderbird instead of Outlook.

I used to use Open Office.

LibreOffice is the new WordPerfect.

MS Word is the Democratic Party of software. Its been failing since as long as we can remeber but people still use it.

THIS is, what happens when a completely delusional persona filled with pure enough self-hatred force-fed to him from the mishpoke

that simulates to be his pseudo-family starts to develop software. And then other dumb-enough assholes actually start to buy his bullshit "developments",

he mostly only stole or took from others anyways.

Which other dumbass sheeple then start to "use" in actually "productive" systems. Because he "has" to "achieve" something from the pseudo-reasoning gaslighted into him all his teen and tween years long.

Instead of his "parents" simply letting him choose his "own" experiences. But they rather helicoptered him as much, as they possibly could, trivially conclusive...

His perpetual wrongdoings were his own decisions: That's the miserable and "sob" part about this.

And then other sheeple keep on using his micro-bullshit because of laziness or lack of "easily visible enough" alternatives.

Or because of the small pseudo-fence this master-asshat simulates for them and they actually keep believing all his bullshit.

I'd call this really, really dark and black-hole-grade phenomenon of behavioral reduction ad absurdum (and beyond, fyi):

Mass-"rockefellerization" of stupidity itself as a proof-of-concept.

I know... Most completely dehumanized US-asshats (like Billinda, e.g.) actually aren't born with the ability to develop something "new".

So they (in their simulation) keep on redoing the same platinum-grade bullshit they do since their "ancestors" set their foot on this part of of this continent, so to say.

I hate Microsoft products. My work computer had like Office 2011 or something (outdated I know), and was recently updated to 2013 or something (outdated I know), and the thing now ran hell slower. Zooming in web mode in Word no longer zooms in real time, but puts a zoom message on the screen... WTF... I also had to go to configuation hell to make Outlook look the same as before. :P

I already hated the interface, but I totally hate the whole thing now. Microsoft products are pure gargage.

LibreOffice is what I prefer and use at home and teach with.

Word is relatively functional when compared to the dumpster fire that is Windows 10 or anything later. Like why do I have to restart my machine every other fucking day?

OTOH, I have been collaborating on something with a colleague for the last week and the Word file he sends is unopenable (even though apparently all the other authors of the document have not complained so I infer they are not having problems). So I just open in Wordpad and send him my edits via email, old school.

Meanwhile, us Mac users recognize the superiority and comparative ease of use of TextEdit.

That is not so much a hill to die on as an acknowledgment of reality.

You can move images fine, you just have to change the word wrapping in the layout options. I still use Libre but Word works fine when you know how to use it.

I have been using Apache open office for years. My only issue is that it can't natively save docx files probably because microshit is so anti-competitive and won't allow it.
