I was actually thinking, why do they have to use a "girldfriend" for this? It would make more sense for a wife to take her man's picture. A girlfriend is not married to him and could fly away at any time. The commitment is not there yet. But the wife is committed to stay until death separates them. (That's how the marriage vows go anyway.) Then I scrolled down.
